chris and i went grocery shopping at the walmart last night. we had a list, and i think having a list kept us from buying junk. it was all good stuff, and the things that weren't necessarily good stuff (like the marshmallow creme) had their points checked before we bought them (only 1 pt for 2 tablespoons). got a bunch of tasty weight watchers meals, some yogurts and even 4 pt ice creams! yay!
i did snack on a slim jim, but turns out they're only 4 pts. i personally find anything under 5 points to be an acceptable snack. and it was yum. :D
i was so excited to be grocery shopping with chris! i can't wait until we're in our own place buying our own food. not too long now, though!
breakfast:
scrambled egg sandwich w/ wheat bread and cheese: 8 pts
snack:
peaches (frozen kind) w/ lite cool whip and splenda: 0 pts
lunch:
subway low-fat buffalo chicken, foot long on flat bread w/ cheese: 22 pts
snack:
more peaches: 0 pts
dinner:
spicy chicken w/cheese: 10 pts
snack:
weight watchers ice cream bar: 4 pts
two meringue cookies: 1 pts
ending the day with 2 pts left! didn't go over like i thought i would since chris found an awesome and delicious and healthy chicken recipe. yum. i love my chris. :D
